Voting districts are the geographical areas that determine a community’s political representation. At the state-level, New Jersey has 40 legislative districts. From these districts, voters elect 1 State Senator and 2 Assembly Members to represent them as lawmakers in Trenton.
Eligible voters will have an opportunity to determine the state Senator and Assemblymembers for this new district by voting in the November 7, 2023 election.
